So yesterday was a good day, I worked out in the morning with Jordan my husband and we had a great time, we are so fortunate to be members of a brand new gym in our town where everything is state of the art and every day we can mix up our workouts to do things that are new fun and exciting, we played a fun game of racquetball and then I went swimming which I love! I have had a bad hip since I was born and the thing that always makes me feel better is swimming, we went on a date that evening and I wasn't even tempted with unhealthy choices, thank goodness this is a diet that is very satisfying! I would also like to thank all of those serious low carb dieters that came before me pioneering restaurants and places to carry good choices for those of us that are just starting out, it is very helpful! Today I did the scariest thing of all, I weighed myself, and thankfully I have lost 9 pounds! YEA! It was so encouraging to see that and to reward myself I went to the gym solo and worked hard for an hour, it feels so good to be on the right track! No big issues or temptations yet except this working out is giving my muscles aches I haven't had in a long time, I am just pushing through it but it is kind of annoying around the house trying to do just normal around the house duties, just waiting for my system to adjust can be a challenge but I know it will happen. I also found a perfect replacement for noodles, tonight I tried spaghetti squash for the first time and my husband and I both enjoyed a delicious substitute which we believe will become a new staple in our home, if you've never tries it please do! I promise it tastes a lot like noodles and mixes perfectly with your favorite sauce, I know because I tested it! Fatigue has set in around afternoon early evening but I am taking care of that by drinking a cup of green tea, my favorite quick pick-me-up, so far so good and the weigh in this morning definitely proves to me I am on the right track! Thank you so much for your likes and comments and encouragements I definitely appreciate it! Well, until next time, good night all!
Jules
